RTiA's vs. RTi's

Just started to look into Polks for 90% music, 10% HT. The RTi12's are listed for $700-$800 and the new RTiA9's are $1500. On paper they look like the same speaker. I understand retailers have to make room for new products, but $800 vs. $1500 sounds like a no brainer. What is your opinion on the new line vs. the old.

The RTI-A's are a good bit different all around such as the front face being wood. I would love to have been able to wait 4 months and got RTIA's over all the RTI's but you just cant beat the close out deals on the rti series right now. Up until about 4 months ago, they would have been priced the same.

I just got a pair of 12s from Crutchfield's in mid-October for $475 apiece, with free shipping. Hell of a deal, and I'm very happy with the speaker. If price is a consideration, you should check out their website to see if they have any left. Frees up more money for other gear, no?
