Thursday night from hell

To start, my wife was attending her Xmas party to which no partners/spouses are allowed. It's ok I'm used to it after 6 yrs...So it meant I'd be alone all night and not sure what to have for dinner. I wlk to our vehicle, only to see the front left parking light hanging by the wire and it's been smashed and the fender is cracked as well....Great...some F*&ker didn't even leave a name and number. On the way home we pass our dealership, so since I have nothing to do tonight except walk Willow I stop in to get a quote....well I almost fell to the floor....975$ to fix...I tell him that there is no way,as we just had our whole back bumper replaced (wife's fault) this fall, and repainted it cost only 675$...Oh well such is life I guess...Driving home all is good, I get to our area of town...heck only to find out we have no power...which was restored only at 1030pm (I got home@ 5pm). So I decide I'll snack on something...well the hummus I bought was 1-the wrong kind and 2 the pita bread was stale! SO off I go searching for a fast food joint to pick something up...well Wendy's was the choice, after waiting 15 mins in drive through, I get my order...So I reach in start eating fries...no salt! which Fast food joint doesn't salt their fries! SAo I reach in for the burger..mmmm the smell , my mouth at this point is watering like Niagara falls, I take a bite... You guesed it the wrong burger ! I get back home and read a book by candle light, mean while Willow is crying up a storm, thinking WTH she's been out already she did what she needed. S there is no way I can realx and enjoy my book over her crying. I take her on another walk..guess she had not finished her business. Get back home (we have no flash lights) on my way down some stairs, I step on one of Willow's toys and fall. Which is not good as I already sufer from herniated disks.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm glad that night is over with.

But, dude, that kind of Xmas party doesn’t allow spouses?? Now that’s crazy. Is that her company? What kinda crazy company does that?

Nope, that liquid you see running off the Chevy bumper is trans fluid from a hole in the cooler. My son came and pulled me back home, we put Rudolph in his truck.

Ok, that's better. Though I'm not sure I'd let a son own a Ford truck...:p
