Frys (and its online counterpart Outpost.com) is currently selling the cherry Polk LSI15's for $420 each.

(they also have the cherry LSi25 for $703 each)

That would make a pair of 15's only $840 new, in box, with full factory warrantee.

While I already have my LSi's (and love them) this is a really great deal and if you were even thinking about getting LSi15's, this may be the time to do it.

Michael
Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

Ok, if you want to get both, maybe you have to get the 25's.... :p

Would be worth a call to see if you could order the right LSi15 though at that price. Definately call before you order though and report back here what they tell you.....

Well I called them (cant believe they only have one channel) and sure enough, their system is saying the right channel is currently out of stock and they do not know when they will be getting more. The price is for left channel only. (sorry guys..)

They do have both 25's though...

what if you bought 7 lefts and put them in a complete circle around your listening area. Your listening area would then be attached to a merry-go-round device that would constantly spin in a counter-clockwise motion. Now that's surround sound. LOL

On a more serious note. If you found a good deal on a pair of LSi15's would they make good #4/#5 speakers or possibly #6/#7 speakers?

im guessing the lsi9's are going to go on sale soon? I hope. It is pretty wierd that a pair of 15's would cost less that a pair of 9's

Anyone know when this promotion began? I thought I saw the sign for it when I bought mine on Sunday, but I didn't get a free sub or $200 off. I called Fry's, but no one seemed to know when it began. One guy did tell me that it would have come up automatically when they entered the purchase into the computer, but I'm not sure if I believe that.

    Any info would be appreciated.

I just jumped on the Fry's deal of 2 left speakers I COULD NOT RESIST...

They dropped price to 316.37 with 25 dollars for shipping making each speaker 340 dollars...

If i were to purchase them together shipping would have been 2x as much..

I spent 682 for 2 Left LSI speakers...

Did i make the right move, for the price of a Brand new LSI15 speaker with warranty is unbelievable....

Did i do the right thing?

Also Polk Lsi 25 is now 500 and change....

Does Frys pricematch their own store? if the price drops again?

    clearance price.

I got an email saying my orders were canceled due to stock having been depleted.

so much for getting LSI 15's.

yes the LSI25 was on clearance as well, but has also been depleted of stock.

I would be pretty pissed if I were you mwaarna. Did you contact Fry's to find out if they would cut you any other deal since they screwed you out of your LSI15's?

Later today.. after i made my last post.. I saw the LSI 15's on frys website listed as In stock.

Immediately i placed 2 new orders..

And 20 min later i checked the website and it changed from shipping today to call for availability...

I called Frys customer support asking about the LSI if its on clearance, they said it does not appear to be on clearance.. and i inquired if i placed an order would i eventually get it, and they said yes. Saying its an open item, but do not know when they expect the next stock.

So i just now checked and 1 of the two LSI15's has shipped and they provided a tracking number for me.

Hopefully they ship both out, so i dont get stuck with a single LSI15....
