    Sony link is broken.
I have not been impressed with Sony's low to midline stuff for quite a while. I would go Cannon out of the two.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Given the two you posted I go with the Cannon over the Sony due to the memory options being the memory stick. Going with the Cannon and the memory being a SD card compatibility with anything opens up, being cards you can use or readers you can use.

    Speakers
    Carver Amazing Fronts
    CS400i Center
    RT800i's Rears
    Sub Paradigm Servo 15

    Electronics
    Conrad Johnson PV-5 pre-amp
    Parasound Halo A23
    Pioneer 84TXSi AVR
    Pioneer 79Avi DVD
    Sony CX400 CD changer
    Panasonic 42-PX60U Plasma
    WMC Win7 32bit HD DVR

I would check newegg.com just for the reviews. Amazon also has decent reviews on products. I had a Nikon, and it took awesome pictures, but it broke. So I went out and bought another Nikon, and it take really crap pictures if you need the flash:(
I should have done the research;)

Oh yeah. Good point Steve I forgot about the sony stick.

    Howdy!
I heard good things about Panasonic's Lumix line of cameras. I picked one up last march as a closeout deal for $200.00. It's a Z06 model, 12x optical, 6mp. Relatively easy to use,
I don't know ANYTHING about photography, and this things got plenty of options.
Like I said, the reviews I saw said it was a pretty bullet-proof camera. And the pictures I've taken come out REALLY clear.
    Good luck.
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

Thanks for the help so far guys.....I have read probably every review out there...I like these two camera's for their 12X-15X optical zooms. One option I like is that while filming a video I can use the Zoom.....Good clear vids of some high speed runs:D I am sure I can't go wrong with either but I rather get some real life opinions from you guys...Thanks again
