Help identify Tweeters

Please help,
I just purchased 2 tweeters described as SL 2500's. Can anyone help me identify these? They don't apear to look anything like the SL 2500's I have in my monitor 5's,

    They are commonly known as Peerless tweeters, not SL2500.

    Do you have brushed, silver faceplate tweeters, with leads pictured as above(SL1000)? or black tweeters with leads going out at arms length(SL2000)?
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    they are flat and black on top. The dome has a small hole in it exposing a (cream?) interior. The wires were cut before I purchased them, they are black and white. No polk lable on the back, just a # 35147(90) (??)

    the person who sold those to you didn't know what they were.. as doro said, they are Peerless tweeters.. they sound pretty good. if you are looking to replace some tweeters, you may want to order the silk dome replacement from Polk, new. RDO-194

    You can't just order the new tweeter as it's NOT a drop in replacement. You can find the Peerless on eBay or perhaps in our Flea Market.
