They rock. Way better than the old PSWx0x subs. Can't wait for the DSWMicro's to come out.

The new DSW series subwoofers are much better than the previous attempts from Polk Audio. They really sound good and perform admirably. There is a MicroPro on demo rotation for the Maryland(DC/VA/PA) Polkies and a DSW600 being demo'd somewhere in Georgia.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Good to hear. I seriously need to upgrade my psw10. Looking at SVS SB12+ or an ED a-350 now.

Dude, can I get this for a demo?

Seems like this may be the sub for me. I want to keep it real and stay with Polk, but not spend too much cash. :D

Far as DSW Series are concerned... I like both of my DSW Pro 600 in my dedicated 7.2 channel theater room... Granted my room is very small (11ftx11ftx9ft)... And two DSW Pro 600 maybe overkill lol... But they do provide the low LFE i've been looking for... I've actually had various speaker set up in this room along with different subwoofer combination's... I use to run seven MB Quarts QLC-304 centers with two Bic America V1220 subs... The bass extension was very good actually and dug a little deeper that the DSW Pro 600... But the DSW Pro 600 provides more flexibility (i.e. tweaking)... And the bass is never boomy when playing movies. I also at one time had my MB quarts paired with dual Velodyne VRP-1000 subs... The bass extention was good, but not great... The Velodyne's had to work harder to keep up.

My setup is on the board with pictures... The room is small, but it works lol... Take care.

    I have 2 DSW 600PRO's and man they rock. (14 x 19 room )
I have them front firing so I dont kill the neighbors downstairs. I think they actually sound better front firing. The 600Pro Grills are expensice but really nice .$50 each.
