Any Denon 3808 owners out here?

If so, I have a question concerning S-video signals being sent to a projector only using an HDMI connection, the problem, I can't get a picture. Anyone able to help a Polk brother out I would greatly appreciate it.

    My guess is youre trying to work with your sms-1. Try running a set of component cables into the AVR. HDMI switching maybe the cause of you not getting a picture. Since its the SMS-1 just run an analog cable.

    Sherardp, you are correct. It seems it has something to do with the SMS-1 and not the Denon though according to the AVS forum. For what ever reason, the SMS-1 has a problem with displaying the OSD at 480i while trying to be scaled with the Denon even if I cut the scaling "OFF" within the 3808. Easy solution was to just run a long video cable temporarily to the projector to make the adjustments then remove the cable.
