Any of those are fine quality amps except for the Fusion. Dont think Ive ever heard of it.

Id pick the JL first then the MTX then the JBL but you cant really go wrong with either.

With the exception of the Fusion, you wouldn't go too far wrong with any of those- mostly a matter of whether they'll fit where you want to install them at the price you're willing to pay. Those dbs will require you keep your gains low with most of those amp choices.

thats good, someone told me kicker is all about power and SPL, not SQ, as i cant audition any, i was a bit worried. i think i will get my hands on MTX or Kicker

There isnt a difference between SQ and SPL amps other than one may be noisier with turn on pops and such. That being said, the Kicker is a powerhouse SPL amp, but Id have no problem at all running it in an SQ setup. Theyre well built, will cleanly make their rated power and have no noise issues that Ive seen.

If they were talking about their amplifiers, I would be weary of any future advice related to car audio from this person. I've gone the SQ route for many years now, dating back to the 90's. I've had "higher end" amps such as Arc Audio (several amps), and Audison. I've also run many systems with Kicker gear, including amps. If they made smaller amplifiers, I would have no issues running any of their amps in my car right now. In fact I did run a Kicker ZX750.1 and thought about getting the ZX350.4, but they were a little too big for my install.

I've always been partial to kicker amps. Have had 3 stolen, on my 4th one now. The sound is great and like others have said they are a powerhouse SPL amp. I run a kx1200.1 with two S10L7's

Nice amp.... I wish Kicker started making smaller amps. I've always been very happy with all the different Kicker amps I've owned.

i have to mount the AMP. cant fit it near/in tyre tub.
    i have to options
    1) make a long box and place it near the rear seat in trunk on floor. ( see pic, blue box )
    2) mount it on the back of rear seats. (see pic, red box)

    problems?
    1) with option 1, i waste some trunk space which is good to have. :D
    2) with option 2, rear seats are not solid enought to mount amp to. i have to place a MDF board abt 1/4inch thick on the back of rear seats, WILL THIS EFFECT MY SOUND/BASE QUALITY??? inside the car?

if it doesnt effect effect sound, which i doubt, i will mount the amp, but if it does effect, im ready to waste some trunk space.

please post ur opinion, meanwhile i look into installation showcase for ideas.

    regards

Mount it to the rear seats but use at least 1/2" mdf. This will give you a better surface for amp mounting. It will not effect the amount of bass.

It wont affect the sound HOWEVER be this isnt a good place to mount the amp.

Your rear seats are angled backwards and if you mount the amp there, it will be facing down. Amps cool by radiating heat out thru their fins and into the air. When you mount the amp facing down, and since heat rises, the heat leaving the fins will rise right back up into the amp.

If you do mount it there, it might not be a bad idea to run down to Radio Shack and pick up a small 12V fan to place near the amp to keep it cool.

The angle isnt that drastic...Ive mounted 100s of amps to the backs of seats and never had a problem with heat issues. If the seat folds down, you need to make sure to leave the seat down when youre running the wire, if not itll rip out the first time you put the seat down.

    thank u ppl
i tried fixing 1/4inch mdf, it was not strong enough to hold the amp at an angle, it just didnt feel secure. fixing 1/2inch board behind all of the seat, and than bolting the seat to original position is very hard. (i guess im not good enough for a wood DIY :D)
thrfore im thinking fittin just two 1/2inch by 1inch, long , vertical wood peices, wrapin em in something similar to seat cover, and fixing the amp on them would be easier :D
