Is there NOT anywhere in the DFW area that you can listen to Polk speakers?
What a joke; went to Frys and CC today all with the hope of listening to various polk speakers and make a decision on my upgrade and left both stores wondering why Polk allows these stores to sell their line? At CC... they had only the monitor 70's on display... Frys; well was just the usual flee market! Anyone have any other suggestions in the DFW area?
Thxs!

My complaint as well. Gaping hole left by the Tweeter stores bailing."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. I tried most of those... believe it or not a couple don't even carry Polk anymore and the others like Kellum only has the 12's. ThxS!Dedicated HT: JVC RS-2 Proj; Carada 104' fixed screen; Yamaha RXZ-7; Outlaw 7 X 200; Toshiba HDXA2; Blu Ray Panasonic 30; Polk Rti10's;

What specifically are you looking to audition? We (DFW area) have some new VM30's in rotation, and the new RTiA5 has also begun rotation (in home demos). There are lot of local Polkies, maybe one of them has what you are looking for and can offer a proper demo.
The Fry's in Plano has a pretty decent Polk setup, RTi and LSi, all varieties.

the rti10's... I live in Flowermound and called the FRys in Plano... they sauid all they had either on hand (display) or in stock were the 8 and 12's.Dedicated HT: JVC RS-2 Proj; Carada 104' fixed screen; Yamaha RXZ-7; Outlaw 7 X 200; Toshiba HDXA2; Blu Ray Panasonic 30; Polk Rti10's;

Fry's has 30 day money back. Home is the best place for a demo anyways. If RTi's are what you consider and have no interest in moving up to LSi's then I would grap the 8's for $150 a piece and listen at home for 30 days before you decide if you're going to keep them or not.

Yeah, I live over by Rheudasil Park. I've got some beat up Rti10's that came out of
the Lewisville CC when they closed their demo room and moved.
They sound ok, but they had a hard life before coming home with me.
At one time, I had a pair of Rti6's and 4's too. I never did go past 3.1.
I'm using them with a Paradigm cc370 and a SVS sub. Movie use only.
The 2 channel rig lives upstairs.
They could use a better receiver than the Yammie I'm using, but once again the
price was right."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
