I'm putting together a system for my 2000 trans am convertible. I want smooth, clear sound with a little bit of bump. It does need to be loud enough to cruise with the top down. I will sound deaden the entire floor, trunk and doors. Here's what I'm thinking, any input on this would be appreciated:
head unit- eclipse cd4000 (already have it)
front doors- MMC6500
rear side panels- MMC650
amp-300.2 or 400.4??
sub in trunk- I'm thinking 1 10" MM2104DVC, not sure if this will be enough with the top down, should I get 2
amp for sub- this is where I'm really struggling, C500.1 or something I may be able to get a little cheaper?
nothing will be exposed, so appearance of the amp isn't too important. thanks guys

I ordered the speakers, decided to go with one MM2124DVC, instead of the 10s. I'll drive that with the c500.1. I'm having trouble finding a c400.4. Anyone know who still carries them? If I can't find one, what is the ideal amp to run the mmc6500?

im running a massive audio p1500 amp i got for $200. its 1500 watts into 1 ohm and a great amp! also a great looking amp to boot!kenwood excelon kdc-x991 h.u.

c400's are rare to find these days. any other amp that puts out 75-100 watts into 4 channels like the alpine pdx 4.100 will work well with those momo speakers
