Hey,
What did you get to replace the Monster? I have the ealrier version of this conditioner and really enjoy its performance. -
Selling it for a friend. I used to own one, though. Now I take my chances and go straight to the wall with my main components through a dedicated line.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Now you got me wondering why would you sell it if you risked plugging your stuff directly.

Does anyone else in here use one of these that can give thumbs up or down? I'm going to need something new in the living room and would prefer something like this. I rep different things but none of the companies have these types of units. Very interested...Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

I used to own one and it worked great. Looks good, too. It gave me piece of mind in knowing that my gear was safe. We have frequent power outages in my neighborhood (lots of trees), and one thing I liked about the Monster was that when it kicked in, it would turn itself off, so when the power returned, my tube gear wouldn't get hit with another surge of electricity. I also liked the digital meter for amps or voltage.
Can't go wrong here. Original retail price was $500, I believe.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I own one. It is excellent. The recent best of 2007 issue form aboslute sound recognized the Monster Power Conditioners for their performance. Great product!
