Hi Guys,
I recently rearranged my cabinet and my amp is no longer within 3' of the line conditioner.
This was $64 shipped from Signal after the Polk discount earlier this year.
It's yours for $40 - free shipping.
From Signal:
10 AWG 3 conductor twisted design
High purity stranded copper for maximum conductivity
Premium grade jacket provides excellent resistance to abrasion, water, oil
UL listed and CSA certified
Temperature range: -40ø C to +90ø C
Voltage rating: 300-600 volts
Max. Amps @ 120V: 30A
This reference Power Cord is based on a 3 x 10AWG twisted design terminated with ultra high quality Marinco HG connectors. Unmatched frequency extension and detail retrieval as well as an improved soundstage and blacker background. Starting at less than $60, this is a tremendous value in high end audio!
Application: Power Amplifiers, Powered Subwoofers, Analog Preamplifiers and Power Conditioners
I'm holding onto my MagicPower Digital Reference cable which is hooked up to my cdp
Paypal preferred - PM me.
Thanks,
Rich

That's as much power cord as you'll ever need. Everything else is just hype.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I just bought a Magic Power Cord for my Odyssey. Its addition was a really noticeable difference. It actually made my amp sound more musical. I'm not sure if it did something to the highs the mids or the lows, but the addition just felt better on my ears. Removing the cord, I immediately could tell the difference. My girlfriend could even hear a difference . . . that's the ultimate test in my book! Just bought a digital one for my Azur 840C. SC rocks!

I'd almost buy a power cable like that to try but the only piece of gear I have with an IEC plug is a Magnavox console tube amp I rebuilt. Damnit. The Carver amps are all hardwired like most all the older stuff and it's not worth it on my HT stuff as I don't have anything major. Ok, the Sunfire sub has an IEC plug...forgot about that.Richard? it would make a great sub cable
you should give Frank a call...Money well spent , IMO
for about the price of a cheap hooker, you could be feeding your sub the right way..!!

If you can tweak that old tube amp, you can add an IEC to pretty much anything.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Kip, you'll love the result on the sub.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

I'll have to wait till I get the living room wall redone and pick one up. I spent most all day yesterday tearing down the wall I had built 3.5 years ago based around a 56" Panasonic RPTV. I bought a plasma a few weeks ago and will be wall mounting it. So, the huge beast came down and I have to do some painting, cut the holes for the 3 new LCR's, mount the bracket, paint the LCR's, wire the new wall plate, etc, etc. It'll be a few weekends of projects but ultimately, I'll have a separate 7.1 system (all in-wall/in-ceiling speakers) and the ability to finally get my Carver gear and SRS II's in the living room, or, the tube amp and Altecs, or whatever else I want to rotate.
Once I get the room done for the most part, I'm going to do the old trick and sit the sub on the couch and listen around the living room and see where it's "hot spot" is so I'll know where to drop the signal cable to it and hope that there is an outlet close by. If not, I'll have my neighbor, the electrician, wire me an outlet where it needs to go. Then I can finally get a power cord and see what happens. Yeah, a lot of crap to get done and here I sit.Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner. -

The worst part about wiring that IEC connector on that old amp was cutting thru that thick metal and then all the filing to get it down to size. Ultimately, it worked out pretty good, I think. Definitely sounds nice and is easy to move around!Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner. -
