Is there anybody who can help me properly set-up 2 subwoofers (PSW110). I had 1 PSW110, and I was happy with the sub. I decided to get another PSW110. It arrive yesterday, I was expecting that by connecting a second sub, I will get punchier sub sound. But when I hook up the second sub. I didn't expect what I heard. It didn't sound punchier, in fact I think the sub sound degraded. I adjusted the phase, maybe it was cancelling each oither. But this didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Stack them together, even in a corner if need be.
You probably were getting some cancellation at certain frequencies.
Welcome to the boards, and thanks for choosing Polk Audio!

Try setting phase to zero first, then make sure you have them dialed in. You may want to invest in a radioshack SPL meter to maximize on sound quality of the overall system. Welcome to club polk.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

As mentioned above, pick up a Rat Shack SPL meter and also download Room EQ Wizard, it's free."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Hello russman,
I place the subs side by side. It improve the sub sound by a lot. Thanks man.
I have the idea that the SPL meter measures the sound level in db. So what is the procedure in using the SPL. Do I need to use this together with the Room EQ wizard? -
I have 2 subs and they are stacked on top of each other, works amazing
