Value of 2A/2B?

I got a pair of SDA Model 2, in excellent condition, really cheap from some people who were moving. I think they're 2A, but I got some conflicting info on the difference between the two. Anyway, what is the value of these if I sold them? They seem to have been pretty expensive when they were new.
They're huge, so local pickup might be best. I've had trouble with Craigslist, people back out, or they agree to a price and then show up and haggle. Still, it might be better than Ebay if half the cost would go to shipping.
Right now there's one pair on Ebay starting at $200.

I guess that would be the good starting point to check the going rates. That and craigslist. What someone is going to pay is going to be based on location and just what they are actually willing to pay.
Man, there's been a lot of people in here lately wanting to sell something.Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner. -

It's getting closer to Christmas and people want the money to buy gifts, etc. Not suprised it's picked up here. -

Ah, the old "need cash for Christmas effect". Probably very true and unfortunately it can work both ways as with "no cash to buy Polks because of Christmas" effect. I've casually (not scientific) noticed the higher prices on EBay tend to be paid around early Fall (Sept/Oct) or mid-Spring.
Avguytx nailed a lot of the price fluctuation - LOCATION. There are a couple of SD2A on the bay for $200 although they will probably go higher as bidding closes (or not). Add $140 for shipping and you may be looking at $375. Then again, if you live near Atlanta there's a nice BIN pair for $375 with free delivery in the area (wow, same price - what a coincidence).
After that, you've got tweeter type, woofer condition, number of owners, cable / manual included, cosmetic damage, wood vs vinyl, 1986 or 1991, etc.
Then there's the model competition. There seems to be a lot of 2's and 2A's up lately. That lowers the price but also makes people think that with so many around, I can just wait until after Christmas. There you go - that damn Christmas effect again.:)
