There is a Moscode 600 for sale right around the corner from me. Have not seen it, no clue of condition or any "mods" or updates, and I no nothing about these units in general. From a brief web search these seem to be very highly regarded and rarely come onto the market. Mid to late '80's stuff that were SS/tube hybrids, 300 wts/chnl. They maker is still in business and his new hybrids (401HR) have equally great reviews it seems and go for around $5000.

The asking price for this Moscode 600 is $1,300 which seems close to full retail I think.. No idea if a better price is to be had.

So... what ya think. Is this something I need to grab because they are worth twice that? I do not need this and do not want to spend that kind of $ to replace my NAD 218 simply because "its better". Is someone else interested if I play "middle man"??

Let me know.

Save the money. You can find better bargains in the vintage Moscode gear.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thanks Mark, wasn't sure if this was top notch stuff that should be grabbed now and find a use later.
