May be a small option -- not quite the craftsmen ship, not point to point wiring...

But would be pretty close..

    One more minor difference

You would have to spend an additional 400 dollars to get SIMILAR crossover components Ty uses -- minus the point to point

    Forgot to mention that

Why don't you start all your threads with "Tyler Acoustics"?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I would --

but then it would get kind of weird...

    Tyler Acoustics Optical Cable

    Tyler Acoustics Universal Remote

    Tyler Acoustics VMPS Larger Subs

Tyler Acoustics Whats with all the fans

tyler Acoustics FS: VMPS Tower II SE

    I'd get confused

Mark, were they the same as Trey's or an "upgraded" model? Just curious. Also, do you remember by chance what tweeter was in the pair you auditioned?

If anybody is interested in a road trip.....EarlyB, Trey and I are planning on visiting Ty's showroom after the holiday season is over. I want to check out the Woodmere's and see if that truly is the direction I want my audio travels to take me.

2 resistors in the tweeter circuit had the ends break off due to the epoxy that held the inductor and capacitor in place failed. With past and recent transport, the weight of the two objects kept physically stressing and bending the wire leading from the two resistors. They [the stress points] had failed by the time they got to my house.

Just so everybody knows, I am still very pleased with the purchase, Brad knows about it and it's no big deal. **** happens. ;)

I just can't wait to get them up and running! :D

    Weird

I doubt it was from the transport I gave them ---

they were secured so tight in that bed, when I got home -- it looked as if we had just loaded them up ahhha

But that sucks man... Glad Ty is taking care of ya

Don't for a minute think it was you. It was the epoxy that held the two components in place. It could have happened 3 years ago. I'm just the lucky one that has to fix it. I've always been blessed like that.

    haha...

Yeah -- one of the grill guides on the VMPS had paper shoved around the hole to grip the pin...

    But little tape fixed that....

And so life goes on? Indeed!

    On both.
Ty's shop is a small operation; what's outstanding is their cabinets making area. I am not familiar with that kind of equipment, but he was making some baffles and the automatic machine looked slick.
Thiel is a much bigger scale thing; starting from design facilities, they make their own drivers, etc.

Thiel will be on your way to or from Tyler, so you should try to arrange a visit also.
