Hi,
Im getting ready to rebuild my 7B's. I ordered all new caps & resistors from Parts express today. I wanted to know If the speaker shown below Is the Peerless? I wanted to order a new pair but was told they only offer the SL2000 now. If mine are Peerless am I better off keeping my working tweets?
Or going with the new SL2000's? Thanks Rick

    Welcome to Club Polk! We have several members in the Rockford IL area.

    I don't think you attached the picture you referenced. If you do have the Peerless and they are working, I believe the popular opinion would be to keep them. If you have the SL2000 tweeters, the new RDO replacements from Polk are a very significant improvement and well worth the time and cost.

    I own a pair of 7b's with peerless tweeters. I think the 7b's only came with peerless tweets. Unless you got a pair made with leftover parts or there was a good party in BMore on that day.:D

    Those are the Peerless tweeters. You definitely want to keep those in there and NOT the SL2000's! Well, that's just me. The only thing that could replace those Peerless tweeters would be the newer RD0's. That tweeter you have was used in many, many great speakers thru the years.

    New caps keep getting better up to 200 hours later. You'll love it.

    Keep that Peerless. Even if they go bad, they come up on ebay every now and then.
