Center Channel behind my Plasma...

Is it acceptable to place the center channel on the tv stand sitting behind a plasma TV sitting on stands (50" Panasonic)? Their is some open gaps for the sound to get through but I'm guessing it's going to be somewhat muffled.

Also this will determine whether I buy a CSi5 vs a CSi3 because the CSi5 will not fit anywhere else per the wife.

Thanks,
Jason

Front and center, Buddy. If you are using your set up for HT most of the time, it's best to keep the center where it has your undivided attention. IMHO.

Yes. If you want to "aim" it to your listening position, which is a good idea, pick up a pair of rubber doorstops from the local hardware store. Wedge them behind the CC and you should be fine.

Not much chance of putting the center above the tv but I think I'd be happy with the CSi3
