if you buy on polk forum, does warranty carry over?

Hi folks. Are there special privileges given to polk club members who buy speakers from other polk club members on this forum? I read one post where a potential buyer said that he would buy the speakers, contingent on “Polk verifying the serial numbers” and something about carrying over the warranty. Needless to say, buying speakers here would be preferable over ebay if there were special concessions, so I am pretty interested in hearing anything about this. Can someone point me to an FAQ if there is one?

    I think what you may have seen was someone questioning the validity of sales/serial numbers from unautorized online retailers.

    I believe Polk's policy is that warranties are non transferable. The into is on www.polkaudio.com
