I can't comment on that particular Oppo product. What I can comment on is that Oppo makes great gear at prices others can't match. Reviews on their stuff seems to bear that out. I have one of their original players, the DV971H & it stiil performs great for both video & audio. I would not hesitate to buy another piece from Oppo.

I just installed a gefen 4X1 DVI switcher. Works great. I picked it up for $75 at videogon. It seems that DVI switchers are about half the cost of HDMI swichers. Since the two connectors pass the exact same video you may be able to go the dvi switcher route and use dvi to hdmi cables. Then again if everything you own is already hdmi this may cost more in new cable than it's worth.

have been using the Monoprice 4x1 switch with no issues at all. Hard to beat for just ~$40.

If they only took in 1.3 HDMI and would output 5.1 HD audio... :)

I'll most likely pick up one when I upgrade to 1080p projector, instead of upgrading my preamp.
