just wondering if theres really much difference, only asked because i just purchased a pair of RTi10s for my fronts upgraded from Monitor 50s, i currently have a CS2 for the center, but i heard its important to have the front sound stage voice matched

i will be powering them with an Emotiva amp(125 w per channel) for now until i save for something bigger, but my living room is pretty small, my question is there really much difference between the CSi3 and Csi5 besides the $150 price differnce, i want my system to sound good, just wanna save money where i can also

any opinions would be appreciated..thanks

From what I've been reading on this sight with those RTi10's you need the CSi5 but from my post if you had RTi4's then the CSi3 would suffice.

The CSi5 is much better than the 3. It is a very big center and needs free air behind it. Don't stick it inside a cabinet.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

+1 Csi5. The main speaker in a HT is the center. Why would you want to skimp on the number 1 speaker in HT. Same idea when getting a Sub, it is the second most important speaker in HT.

Can somebody tell me if there is a place in Canada where I can buy a Csi5?
I made extensive search and found nothing.
Is the new Csi A6 a good match with my Rti10?

    Thank you
    Bert

Do the RTi4 match the Csi5? Oh yeah I'd also like to to know how the Csi A4 stands up to the CSi5 or any Csi A models for that matter.

Same here, I really want the 5...but the only one that fit was the 3.

    Hi Paul,
I looked there first and I called several stores and they don't have theme anymore.:(
I will probably go with a Csi A6 instead.

I just ordered the CSi5 after figuring out it is too big to fit below the TV but what I didn't realize is that it comes with a built in kickstand that allows it to sit atop my TV. I'm just now hoping it will work ok. :)

I tried doing that with my Sony SXRD and it worked but I didn't like the look of it at all. Mainly because my TV is against a side wall of a room and from teh hallway you can see behidn the TV and it just looked really funny. I wish my TV was against a back wall.

Let us know how it works out!

I really hope it doesn't look bad but I guess I'll have to figure something else out but if not I'll be returning it for the CSi3..oh well
