....designed by Dr. Hsu himself.

They offer an 8, 10, and 12 inch version - just a heads up - another option in the budget subwoofer market......

Cheers,
Russ

Hmmm...STF1, 2 & 3 with a bit less amp and probably driver. Bic and Dr. Hsu teamed up on the H100 and had a winner, so these should be pretty darned good.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Probably similar to what he designed for Outlaw Audio.

By designing for other companies, is Dr. Hsu competing against his own product lines?

No, Dr. Hsu is a speaker designer first and foremost.

The drivers are Dayton audio, and he probably designed the enclosure and recommened the amplifier power and eq curve - they may look similar to an HSU design (again, his style, enclosure - but not his drivers or amp I would imagine).

As far as competition, plenty of people have bought Dayton subs thus far, why wouldn't he want to get paid a royalty on the ones that are sold on the brand? The die-hard HSU fans aren't going anywhere. Genius if you ask me.

    Cheers,
    Russ
