so i've had my sub hooked up LFE since i set it up and have it crossed over at 80hz in the receiver (denon 3803). HOWEVER, i have noticed the bas has been lagging behind the music. you go up next to the sub and you can tell it hits later than the actual beat..not to mention bass has no presence at all (i have JBL e250p) and im in a 20x15 room. so my brother suggested i go speaker level and i did using crappy 16gauge monster wire and it made a huge diffrence. bass is actually on beat and fills the room. anyone have any reasons for this? shoudl i check something in my LFE because it just doesnt make sense?! the sub would actually hit later than the actual beat

Adjust the LFE/Sub distance on your receiver."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
