I do not really need these, but want them.

So why do I not want to buy these??? Oh yea, I want a new cartridge as well....

    There are numerous reasons not to buy them. From a review I read they said the bass is big and full, not wimpy and lame like one would expect an EL84 to be. This alone is enough reason to stay away. Another reason to leave them alone is that they said they are very quiet yet powerful sounding. We all know a little 35W amp should be weak and annoying sounding. Stay away from this one, its just not what an EL84 amp should be...

    Well, I contacted the seller, he says he is getting lots of hits but no dough (sounds like folks like me sending him e-mails) turns out he is in my line of work at @.gov LEO agency.

    If they are still available on Friday I may scratch the itch..........but I sorta need the effin cartridge, if they made a tubed cartridge, now that would do it for sure. Cartridges are so little and this a big itch.
