I am putting up my FX1000's for sale. They are in mint condition and will come with the box. I don't have the manual as these were bought and put together in kit form but it can be downloaded from the Polk site or I think Doro started some download threads that may help if needed. Every part was bought from Polk and put together as the thread shows. They were never overdriven as rear sourrounds more then likely would not be. They sound and look great and still look like the thread pics.
I am asking $550+ shipping and they will have $1200 ins on them for the ride to their new home.

Thanks

Dave

EDIT: please post intrest here first before any PM's as I don't want anyone to feel cheeted.

I'll admit, I was confused. I thought you were selling the ones built from scratch...pictures do speak a thousand words.

Will you be selling the "home made" version?

These are the real FX1000's not the home made version's. The home made ones were fun to build but were never intended to be sold.
The pics are of one of the 1000's the other looks the same and both are in new condition. The only thing is because I bought the cabnets from Polk they are considered replacement cabnets and do not have serial number tags on the back.

I'm also running 1000's, and have to say, this is an awesome set of speakers.
I was previously the FX500's and the 1000's blow them away.

I also have a pair of fx1000s and fx500is I was using them for surround and surround back, but switch over to Monitor Audio Speakers. They are great surround speakers.

Would the fx500i be a good match for my RT2000p mains? The FX1000 would probably match better, but is a bit pricey.

I answered my own question by reading up a bit on the speakers. Looks like the FX500i has the tri-lam tweeter like my RT2000's so that would be good match.

haghighi, how much are you asking for the 500s?

I have a pair of RT2000's as mains, a CS1000p as center and four FX1000's as surrounds. All are timbre matched and sound phenomenal. Hard to beat at any price, but a real deal at used price points. When set up properly, this is as good a setup as I have heard for a large HT. Took me two years to get it all together from original purchasers. I have approximately $1,400 in the system, and wouldn't sell it for twice or three times that.
