Hi,
I built my home theater this weekend. Consist of (2 x RTi10), (1 x CSi5) and (2 x FXi5).
I have 2 questions:
#1. My FXi's were not labeled left or right near the serial number. How should they be placed ?
#2. I have a RX-V520 Yamaha receiver http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/av/english/re/RX-V520.pdf
Should I upgrade this amplifier or is it OK for the moment ?
Thank you,
Francois.

the speakers are 8 ohm, so using that reciever isnt that bad at all. just make sure its not so loud to where the amp clips (long story short, distortion is a no no)
you can actually do more damage to a speaker with low power than with high power.
I never heard that reciever, but fell comfortable you will want to upgrade the reciever or go the seperates route before you upgrade speakers. that RTi set up will have legs for a long time
never used FXi speaks, I dont think there side specific though. if only one side of it has a modwoof (as opposed to both) I think you want the midwoof faced toward the front, not back. i really could be wrong though. if no one else chimes in, kell Polk C/S, you'll get the definitive answer there.Living Room 2 Channel -
