I've been listening to this album for about a week now, and I have to say I like it!

Most of the songs are ones that didn't make their last album, as well as a couple of remixes and covers of other band's songs. All in all, they're pretty well done! I think their cover of Joy Division's "Shadowplay" is excellent and I won't be surprised if it starts getting some decent radioplay. I'm not particularly partial to the Dire Straits cover of "Romeo and Juliet", but that just might be me being a purist on that one song :D

Their remix of "Mr. Brightside" is an enjoyable listen and its 8 minute length flies on by without any feeling of it dragging or outstaying its welcome. Their real gem, however, is their piano version of Sam's Town: absolutely fantastic. It's a beautiful song and a good listen.

If you're a Killers fan, it's certainly worth its price. If not, its still worth a listen.
Lovin that music year after year.

I just knocked out almost all of Sam's Town on my 2-channel rig over lunch today. Pretty good stuff. . . haven't listened to it since it came out months ago. Sounded good, but my ears are still ringing a little. Guess I was too generous with the volume.

I need to check out sawdust. Also need to do some Amazon-ing to get Bloc Party A Weekend in the City, and maybe some old Shins albums that I never picked up.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
