Anyone familiar with this series, particularly the LS70 and LS 90 models?

I'm looking to replace some S series speakers I previously owned, and would like some advice before purchasing.

I don't care to go with any of the newer models. I'm trying to stay somewhat vintage, get some great sounding speakers, but not as far back as the older monitor series or SDA models.

TIA for any input and advice.

Tim

I wouldn't hesitate on an LS series purchase, as long as the price is in line.

That's what I was thinking also. If you recall, I was originally looking to replace my S10s, until you pointed out that they had good drivers but horrible cabinets that very flimsy and extremely resonant..

If you don't mind offering up, based on your experience and knowledge on the polk models....

What would be a fair price for the LS70s, in great condition?

300-400 for the 70's, 500-600 for the 90's, ballpark of course.

    Cheers,
    Russ
