Lesse....as a rule, all of the RCA Living Stereo SACD's that I've heard are good as are the Mercury Living Presence (although, I think the RCA's are better)
I'm doing this from memory so bear with me..
Mahler 5 - released by Waterlily (by some Russian)....best Mahler 5 that I've heard
http://www.amazon.com/Gustav-Mahler-Symphony-Yuri-Temirkanov/dp/B0009PLM26
Bartok - Piano for Concerto

Janos Starker - anything he has on MercLiving Presence is worth having..this is my fave
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=16727
Stokowski Rhapsodies
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=16227
BSO - Mozart chamber music for winds and strings
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=38651
(I've not heard this but from everything I've heard and read, it's a must own)
The first four I picked because the performances are incredible. You MIGHT find better recordings (doubtful) but not better performances.

Nice post!!!Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Telarc's pressing of the 1812 Overture - Eric Knutzel and the Cinncinnati orchestra. Warning! Real cannon shots on this one that will cook speakers and amps that aren't up to the task.
Vivaldi's Four Seasons - Seiji Ozawa and the Boston Symphony. One of my all time favorites. -
Sibelius/ Prokofiev/ Glazunov Violin Concertos
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=15134
Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition & Other Russian Showpieces
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=14641
Mozart: Requiem
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=15202
Wagner: Great Orchestral Highlights
http://store.acousticsounds.com/browse_detail.cfm?Title_ID=8083
and the old warhorse but still great energy and sound:
Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1/ Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 2

Telarc's pressing of the 1812 Overture - Eric Knutzel and the Cinncinnati orchestra. Warning! Real cannon shots on this one that will cook speakers and amps that aren't up to the task.
There're 2 versions of this....same orchestra and conductor, just recorded at different times. Essential for your collection in both cases. Latest version is a direct-to-DSD recording....will cook speakers/amps even faster than old version when cranked to 11. -
Thanks for the suggestions. People keep asking me what I want for Xmas because I'm supposedly difficult to buy for so I'm putting together a SACD list. Me? Difficult???
Anyone else with a suggestion? -
