Sorry, I'm a little behind the times. For all you Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics fans out there, Bethesda bought the rights and we should be able to join the Brotherhood of Steel in the fall of 2008, hopefully on schedule.

Tuesday, October 28th. Just picked up a reserve copy that came with a Nuka Cola magnet. Time to upgrade my 7800GT.

I guess no love for Fallout on this forum. Anyhow, if anybody was interested, I picked up a PC copy on the 28th. It's a fun game cleaned up a bit for mass consumption. Graphics are good but not awe inspiring even running max'd out on a Radeon 4850, Q9300, 2GB memory, 22" LCD. There's a targeting system that plays back a bit like Max Payne. Language, graphic violence, drug usage, prostitution (suggested but not the rock the car version in GTA). Story line is fun. If you treat this game like a 1st person shooter, you'll be bored. If you concentrate on the storyline, it's quite dynamic and fun.

    Suggested buy for Oblivion fans.

For all the Oblivion and Fallout fans, a friend of mine recommends The Witcher. I haven't tried it but he said the storyline was the best out of the 3.

Maybe I can finagle the wife into buying me a couple for Christmas. :o
