Anyone here ever been to Banff national park in alberta? I watched a show on discovery channel or one similar and it was absolutley beautiful. I think I could live there till I die and be very happy in a place like that :)

REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

I live in Alberta and have been to Banff many times and it is absolutley beautiful but it is also quite cold in the winter. Great if you like to ski or snowboard.

I'd love to get there one day. My friend goes to Lake Louise every year for his anniversary. He says the skiing is great and the views spectacular.

Lake Louise has to be seen to be believed. If I remember right the its glacier fed, so it has lots of leached minerals that make it blue-green. "as if its waters are distilled from peacock feathers" was from one of the first explorers to see it. I'd love to get back up there again.
