Is slow loading normal in beginning on a 1080p upconversion?
It is a great DVD player, but when you turn it takes forever.
should i take it back and get a hd-dvd player.
How much difference will it make on a 720 tv?

an hd dvd player wont be any faster. any of these new players that will utilize firmware updates are more like computers and have a boot up time.Home Theater

I've heard that the Xa2 is a lot better about boot time than the A2, and that the A20 is an improvement over the A2 as well, so I think they are getting better about that....The A20 is $169 at Cosco here in Minnesota....You really can't lose at that price.
