Great Family Game for the 360 owners...

Just got done playing three rounds of Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action! It is a very fun game that will keep you entertained for hours. There are over 1800 questions, and the Xbox keeps track of what questions were asked so you would have to play a ton before you get a repeat.
Achievements are moderate, but yet hard enough to keep you playing. We played 2 rounds and I had opened up 21 of the 42 available. There are a ton of game modes so the game looks like it will stay fresh. My 11 year old and 14 year old had a blast playing it. And although they had troubles with movies from the 80's and earlier, they still wanted to play more. So it really looks like something they would enjoy playing again.
Great party game! Especially for this time of year. If you have played the Scene It? DVD game then you are bound to love the 360 version.

Well I can try to give you examples....like one category is "Ending Credits" and the will give you the director's name and a few of the actors name's and you have to guess the movie in the allotted time. All answers are based on the allotted time slot which I think is 30 seconds, but the faster you answer the higher the score of coarse. Highest possible score is 2000 points.
Okay here is another category called (I think) "kids draw" where basically you have a kids drawing of a famous movie scene (Like the plane scene on North by Northwest) and you have to guess it.
They also have a screening room category. In this you watch maybe a 2 minute film clip. After the clip they will ask you questions related to it. Sometimes the questions have to do with the clip itself, and others are well known things about the movie or actors in the movie.
One other one that pops up is a photo category, and they have early say high school photo's of actors/actresses and you have to guess them. All questions have four possible answers.
And the final round of the game is called "Final Cut". If you are behind this is the way to catch up. They ask four questions about a movie clip. The first ? is 1x, 2nd ? is 2x, third is 5x, and fourth you get 10 times the points earned. So if you know the movie and the leader does not, you could have a chance to win.
These are just a few category's out of say at least 30. -
I am VERY glad to hear great things about this game! I have the first edition that came on DVD and loved it however after some time I knew the answer to every question and when we would make a drinking game out of it I had a lot of drunken aggravated eyes looking at me. Definitely going to pick up the 360 version this holiday!// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //
// Polk Audio FXi A6 // SVS PB12-NSD Subwoofer // Logitech Harmony Ultimate // Pro-Ject Debut III //
// Oppo BDP-103 // Microsoft Xbox One Day One Edition // Sony Playstation 4 1TB SSHD // Nintendo Wii U //

I imagine that with the 360 version there would be downloads later on that would continue to enhance the game, i.e more questions, movie clips etc. I'll pick this one up, seems like a great title to get family and friends involved over the holidays during the parties/dinners.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Sherard,
Glad you liked it. We have logged many hours with it on my account, and I have yet to see any repeat questions yet. -
Is this an easy enough game for people that don't ever play video games?

Very simple game, think of it as a quiz. Heres an example of the game. They show a short video clip and then they ask questions relative to the clip, who was this actor, what were they talking about, things relative to the clip. Another part of the game consists of putting movies in order by release day, as in which title came out first, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. Simple things like that, and you get timed so the faster you do it, the more points you earn. Easy and fun family game.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Agreed....we played this over Christmas with both sets of grandparents. Neither one of them are technically savvy. So we played partners, and my family that knows the controllers used them while the old folks answered the questions. We had a lot of fun with it. We played it for a good solid 2 hours. -
I bought this game because my girlfriend wanted it(and because I bought Guitar Hero III, so this was her way of "getting back" at me :P), and I ended up being sucked in as well. The Big Button controllers are easy to use, and the game interface I found to be extremely user-friendly. We have a ton of fun when we have people over. She still beats me nearly every time though.

We've had a lot of fun playing Scene It the past four days. Highly recommended. Its very fun, and certainly very easy for those that don't play vids often at all.

I got "Scene It" for my 360 in November, and me and my family have had a blast with it. It's a great deal for $60, and with 4 controllers, you can't beat it. I am looking forward to the upcoming updates for the current title, which will expand the field of questions even further. I recommend this game to anyone that owns an Xbox 360.Main Set-up: 55" 120 hz Samsung LN55B650, Onkyo TX-SR806, Emotiva XPA-5, Emotiva XPA-2, PS3 Slim, Sony BDP-S560, Apple TV (160g), Panamax M5300-PM, Polk Audio CSi5, RTi10's, FXi3's, RTi4's, and SVS PB12 Plus

Has this been confirmed?
Yeah. Go to the Xbox Live marketplace, and watch the demo of "Scene It", and the host of the show mentioned it near the end of the presentation. When the updates will be released? I don't know.
