Last night was fun. I was having a hard time getting my aim down, though.

Hopefully I will be around tonight. I'm supposed to be rearranging my HT today. So if that goes smoothly.....

Otherwise I will be on really late.

Played with Shindig and his buddy from work degnarraer. We all had the Polk clan tag going and would have made the Polk family proud with our play. We really kicked some **** last night in ground war.

One thing to note. I find myself getting my **** kicked on a regular basis when none of my friends are on and I am joining random teams. but once I get a few clubpolk buddies, or friends playing with me I find my odds of winning matches increase dramatically.

    Anyone else experience this too?

All the time and it sucks to lose. Im a winner man, however I hate playing with random people who just have zero skills. So Polk guys, let get it on, lets set something up for the weekend.

dunno. i start out cold. then i warm up. then sherard or chevy show up and then i begin to degrade in performance. some call it an 'inferiority complex'.

    ...or better yet, 'performance anxiety'.:(

I just played 4 matches in a row on Mercenary team deathmatch and each time I was the only player on my team in the plus. Why don't people realize that 17 kills does nothing if you have 24 deaths. I'll be on this weekend for sure! Maybe not Saturday but Sunday is a lock.

doubles your rate of fire. more bullets per second for when an enemy jumps in front of you. whose bullets will be pumped into the other faster for the kill? m-16 with double tap is nice.

M-16 with Stopping Power is 100x better. :)

Whats the gun/perk combo that kills me with two shots to the kneecap everytime? Thats the one I want. Even better, what are the bullets that kill you when they go over your shoulder? Those would be nice too.

It's the M-16 w/Stopping Power or a P90 w/Stopping Power & Silencer. Those are the two deadliest run and gun combos. The M-16 has far more range, though. It's a rapestick.

I think double tap is a bunch of ****, IMO. If you're on the target you want it to drop ASAP. Stopping power does that quickly and with less shots (meaning your gun is easier to control).

It's the starter gun in the game, it's just not a "great" weapon until you get those perks unlocked.

    My #1 Combo is:

    M-16 w/Stopping Power & Red Dot

    Desert Eagle

    Martyrdom

    3 Frag Grenades

    Stun Grenades

You get so many extra kills with Martyrdom and the 3 frags it's ridiculous.

Obviously that combo doesn't work for everyone, because you have to like the feel. Plus I like to run into the thick of things. If you're a guy who hangs back this probably won't be your bag.
