Museatex Bitstream with a Museatex transport. I believe jm1 uses a Bit-stream still as well. He once told me the Bit-stream was close to his vinyl. I'm sure he's upgraded his vinyl rig since then but that makes quite an impression. I've not looked for a new source in years now. I just haven't heard anything really beat it.

For my computer music, I have a Keces USB DAC connected to my Technics SU-8600 amp, which is driving a set of Polk RTi-6's The Keces sounds sweet & appears to be pretty high quality stuff. Anybody have any experience with these DAC's.

I've seen some chatter about it over on Head-fi.
It was one of the units I considered when I went to the Monica.

Does Monica make a finished DAC? I thought that they were all kits?

Yes Yeo makes completed Monica IIs and USB Monicas. You can get the Monica in a jewelry box or a small metal case like the Trends Audio units, and the USB Monica comes in a wood case. I have a completed USB Monica in my PC rig, but the stain is a little more red then normal. The site also has pics up of the different cases, but I can't get to it now since I am at work.

Mine was assembled other than I/O. Had to mount a power switch, RCA's, and usb cable to the case and solder the leads. Not too bad. About 90 minutes of work. The Keces is for the solder challenged.:D
