See, that is a level I don't know if I could ever reach even after countless hours of practice. That is extremely impressive.

Do you have this game? If not, Goodwill on Fairview has about 5 of them new in box, one for the Wii and the rest for XBOX 360 for $59... Not too bad! I picked one up!

That's impressive? How about some real shredding, not the 5 knuckle pluck.

It's harder to play Guitar Hero than real guitar, at least for me. Of course, learning to play guitar without chord/note by color is harder, but after that....

Is it really? I'll have to check it out, seems pretty straight forward.

Yeah, there's a video of Slash in the game saying the same thing. I think it takes a lot longer to learn how to play a real guitar, but going from that to playing this game....forget it, it's not easy at all. About the only edge I had was knowing about hammer-ons and pull-offs, and even that is hard as hell later in the game. Other than that, the rest of my knowledge was useless.

The Metallica song One on Hard/Expert is ridiculous. I haven't played it in a while on guitar, but when I was younger I could fly though all of the guitar parts with ease. It's nearly impossible for me with Guitar Hero on those difficulty settings. Maybe I just need to play it more. :o

The one thing about Guitar Hero is that it takes away your thumb, which you'd have playing real guitar, and just the way the buttons are laid out aren't realistic to how your fingers would be on a real guitar. It might just be that I am used to doing different things when actually playing guitar as opposed to pressing 5 buttons on a guitar controller.
