Well, DTV has been upping the # of HD channels, and I have to say that it has been a refreshing change to the point that I expect most of the channels (that I tuned in) are all offering HD when they are available. So far, I have zero issues with HR20 boxes, no pixelation at all.

On the side note, I gained more appreciation of my RPTV HD investment, 5 years overdue! :)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Have you tried the 'On-Demand' feature yet? Pretty cool, I've been catching up on all the rock crawling and off-road stuff that speed channel plays in the middle of the night.

And it is a great feature wth my two year old! Now we can see Thomas the Train and The Bearstein Bears whenever we want!!

I have the (Hard to find) Black HR-20 and I almost like it as well as my TiVo unit but I like you guys have had no issues with it and right now DirecTv has got every1 beat so far for HD channel Line up. I just wish they had more options to monthly subscribe to Adult content like the old Analog Satellites had. Playboy Sux. But thats just my thought.

I have Direct and an HD RPTV, and have been thinking about this. The content has been what's holding me back.

Question... if you're watching Fox on the 380's (not local), and it says 'in HD where available', does it show HD on Direct? Or is it hit and miss?

The thing I'd want most that DirecTV offers that I don't get with Comcast isn't even HD. It's Boomerang.

Oh Classic Cartoons, how I long for you.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Really? That's interesting. I get Boomerang with my digital HD package (Comcast preferred). Also, the HD quality is quite good on the HD tier. Sometimes amazing really.
