A funny thing happened on the way to the forum....

The strangest thing happened on the highway today. I was following a nondescript white moving truck and noticed the door was loose on it.
At that very moment a pile of gear came tumbling out of the rear. I immediately pulled a Hooper bootleg manuever and slammed it into reverse at about 65. The timing was critical so that I could catch all the gear in the bed of my truck. I missed a couple things and after they hit the pavement, they weren't worth stopping for anymore. I continued in reverse and when I passed the driver of the truck, I gave him the finger and took the exit on two wheels. That was unplanned and a little hairy.
The craziest thing is that the tube amp didn't lose any of the bias adjustements and only one tube was loose. I got back home and took stock of what I "caught".....

I regret not saving more of that stuff but feel pretty fortunate. I think I'll make some herb planters out of them.

FedEx promised me that stuff was out for delivery and would be delivered to my house by 3:00. No wonder it's late!

Those things will hold very little in the way of rockwool and water. Lemme give you a call, I may have some better ideas for you.Wristwatch--->Crisco

I dunno ..... that VS110 tube amp is only rated at 110 wpc ...... I guess you could hook it up to a small set of bookshelf speakers.
I hate to see you ruin a set of bookshelf speakers, though; I think that toaster has pretty high THD by today's sand standards.
Wait a second, I just thought of something !
Why not ...... yes, this might just work ..... you might go ahead and put it up for .... yes ! ... a CP Kharma !!
Yes, that might just work ! That way, you wouldn't have that junk sitting around, cluttering up the joint during the holiday seasons.
What a great idea, and ..... uh ........ well ..... aw, crap, this isn't going to work.
Congratulations.Sal Palooza -
You should return them to the company. I hear they put GPS locators in their equipment.

Those are two sweet preamps.
About the story.....nothing strange about that....except for the part where you say you were on your way to the forum. Man, I've never driven here. Always take the bus. Where do you park????_________________________________________________

What bus you take? I'm on the commuter rail myself. -
I meant that I was on the way to here Ricardo I figured we haven't had a WCW III moment in awhile and some blatant gloating was in order. The difference is that I'm not keeping any of it since I have a boom box to listen to.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? I'd love to upgrade to a tube pre one day."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
