I'm thinking the LSi-7's would be a better choice.

If you're looking for a nice comination of cheap and good, try the Monitor 30's.

Then put in the movie, "Heros", with what's-his-name (Jet Li) ?

The fight scene in the courtyard makes excellent use of the back surrounds; the sound of water falling was ....... AWESOME !

We have Monitor 40's, and I think it would be a waste on a back channel.
The 40's like to keep busy to sound good.

If the choice is 40's vs Lsi 7's ....... go with the Lsi 7's.
