Can someone loan a brother a decent little pre to use till I get back on my feets?? I can assure you it'll be cared for with the uptmost respect. Already have gone nuts with no music.

The majority are gone or going soon. With a pre, I can rig up a decent sounding system to get me thru til I can get things up and going again.

I assume you do really mean a preamp and not a pre/pro or AVR. If so - pm me your details and I have a Yamaha C-85 I can send your way. (wont be able to check PM's until after work so hang tight till later tonight. Wont be able to respond until then.)

This is a good time to convert over to PC audio... if you have a DAC, and a PC with digital out... you could use the PC as the pre in the mean time.

If you can put your music on your PC and don't have a DAC, I have sound card and cable for sale in the classifieds. If you're interested, I'll give you a much better price than what I have listed.
Another approach may be one of those $15 radio shack amps with a build in pre. I purchased 5 and believe they're all spoken for. newbs, all advice is nice, you should know the man likes his vinyl and is need of 2-channel pre.
