I am interested in joining the members that have stakes in the record flattener. I remember reading about it somewhere, remember seeing it at PF not even knowing what it was, but now I'm interested in either purchasing one, or joining the list of contributing members.

Go to hell, or come on in? [ya'lls response to me]

BTW, what's the bend over fee if accepted? :p:D TXS.

Oh, and all you vinyl guys should be proud of me today. At least for a second or two. I ordered the 25th anniversary edition Mini pro [and dust cover] special order in the Jatoba [Brazillian Cherry] finish record cleaner that automates the fluid application, record scrubbing, and vacuuming both sides of the LP at the same time. Whooo Hooo! :D

I'll PM you the details. You do need to pass the initiation test. I personally designed it, so I am already laughing my a$$ at you :eek::D:D

You do have a video camera right? You'll need it to share the test procedure.

    I'd rather have warped LPs.

    Nice Nitty Gritty Tom!

I've got an older one and I love it.

The flattener worked well at Polkfest. It makes good waffles too!

Kewl. Nice NG. I bought an older NG 1.5FI from Joe. It has the push button electric motor to dispense the fluid. Despite being packed well, it was damaged on its way to me. Because of that I learned that the early units used a Hogs Hair filter material to help separate the liquid from the air before it entered the vacuum motor. That filter media was compressed in mine and reduced suction. I replaced it with a different material and now it sucks even better than when Joe owned it.:D Newer models use a better filter material. I also added a new wood base. You just can’t scrub a Cheetos or pizza finger printed used LP on a NG, so I use a counter top for that.

While you were thinking about it, I read your thoughts and imaged it to my digital camera! And, it even has the CD cleaner attachment! You were thinking the pump was damaged and didn't work at one time so I couldn't imagine it! Does it look like this?:D
