I have never liked Kid Rock or the genre of music he has released in the past, but I have to say that his latest album, "Rock and Roll Jesus" is one of the best damn rock albums I have heard in the last 10 years. There are very few weak moments. I am especially impressed with his voice. I was very suprised. Anyone else listened to this album? Thought?

Haven't heard it yet, but I think he is seriously talented despite the hype and marketing behind him. I was a big fan of Devil Without a Cause, but he kind of took the whole redneck rap thing too far. I'm looking forward to hearing this new stuff though.

I like the title song, and no one's more surprised about that than me. I'll check out the disc.

He was never someone I would have even considered listening to. However, I seen him on TV one time doing a cover of I think it was Leonard Skynard song, by himself on an accoustic guitar. At the time I thought to myself, wow this guy really is talented, what a waste.
