There was this thread that spoke of places to buy sacd at decent prices. I have looked and I have looked low, I even used the search function but to no avail. So I sit and hope that some one will read this and bestow upon me the knowledge they have on the cheapus-sacd-um so I too can practice the art of cheapus-sacd-buyum.

Hmmm....what do you consider "decent price"?

The place with the lowest prices on new SACDs is yourmusic.com. $5.99/per SACD + sales tax. Selection is limited but it will get you started.

I've been pleasantly surprised on what I could find on Amazon.com. New SACDs for lower prices than Acoustic Sounds, Music Direct, CD Universe, etc. eBay has some good sellers also. Search SACD

There is a subscription site out there where CDs are something like $5.99 a piece. What you have to do is sign up and set up a list of CDs you want. Once a month they send you one from you list automaticlly. I didn't sign up myself, because most of the stuff I listen to are just MP3s. They did have a nice list of SACDs and didn't charge anything extra (double disks are twice the price). Hopefully someone here will be able to come up with the site (I got it from here).

If you go to yourmusic do a search on the title and enter "sacd" for the keyword and it will bring up what they have.

thanks guys. Not looking for a subscription, just want to look up a few I want for christmas so the wife can send the link to her parents(that way I will get an sacd, and not a cd)
