Does anyone know if Acoustic Research component video cables are worth a hoot. I am looking to put a good set with my Arcam DV27. I have been thinking about Blue Jean cables but found a good deal on this 3 foot set of AR.

Full Metal Jacket, cool player. If you are only going 3 feet, I doubt you'd be able to notice any difference between the two. I'm using the same Belden wire as the Blue jeans, bought on the cheap and had them terminated with BNC's. Player is Cambridge 540D V2.

I would use BCJ, I've been disappointed by AR cables before.

Thanks for the reply. I just noticed after posting this that the AR cables are from Radioshack and retail at $60. Blue Jeans retail at $50 for 2ft. What would be a little higher end then these without gettin really crazy priced. How would Audioquest component cables compare? I have seen them used for $140.

I find AR to be a decient value, they are better quality than basic store cables, but cheaper than rip-offs like Monster.
