I am new to a forum so hope this gets out to the right area.
We have a polk I sonic system...really like it. But have had a problem with the disc player for the second time (first system replaced).
All other components of the system work fine, but after a few months of use, the disc player will accept a cd, but doesn't load, flashes lines across the readout then shuts the system off. We tried a lasar lens cleaner disc but did the same thing. Is this a common problem with this system? Any suggestions?

Welcome, try posting this in the troubleshooting thread.

If this is happening with all discs I suggest you contact Polk Customer Support directly. Sounds like the unit should be replaced. Good luck.Michael
