I have 4 pairs of JBL 240Ti available.
Prices are as follows:
**SOLD** - This pair has matched serial numbers 07106 and 07107. Cabinets are excellent condition with one small nick in the veneer. Grilles have a few nubs on them but nothing major. They come with their original boxes. Because of the nicked veneer I will conservatively rated this pair at 8.5/10, everything else is flawless.
**SOLD** - 2 pairs available at this price. Mismatched serial numbers but they both have left and right speaker. The grilles for these have a good amount of nubs on them and probably could use new grille cloth. Certainly not a deal breaker in my eyes. The cabinets/drivers on these easily rate 9.5/10. Both pairs come with original boxes
Edit: Decided to remove the parts pair, I am going to make them a project of mine I think.
If you need more pics of anything let me know. Prices are negotiable, just PM me. I will not ship these as each speaker weighes a little over 100 pounds packed unless you want to handle everything with a freight company, etc.

How the hell you wind up with 4 pair of these? The serial numbers on JBLs are very rarely matched for those who dont know.
Great speakers btw. wish I was in boston.:)
REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -

Kinda strange how I ended up with 4 pairs.... I originally went for 1 pair....then it turned to 2 when I saw the condition....then got an offer i couldnt refuse for all 4 pairs......extending myself to the absolute limit of my budget for any audio gear......so now I'm gonna sell 3 pairs, and repair the last pair for myself. These take up ALOT of room, i had well over 1200 pounds of speakers/boxes in my sisters Honda Odyssey minivan, looked like I had an 4 person fat drop in the back.
Snow, if you are dead serious, I am willing to work something for shipping, but let's take it to PM's. I can already tell you it will be VERY expensive but I have heard stories of people driving hundreds of miles for these speakers.
Just an FYI, despite the foam on the 14" woofers being good, i ordered 4 pairs of replacement foam JUST IN CASE you decide you want to replace it. I will include 1 pair of foam surrounds(uninstalled) with every pair. I have a local shop that can do the refoaming if you don't even want to play the game with the original foam.(for a small added fee to cover his cost) -

These have the 14'' LE14H-1 woofers and the 104H 5'' midrange and the very nice 044ti titanium tweeter.

I would love to have a pair of these but the shipping would double the cost at least. if I get a pair it would have to be local.

That would be great Snow. You can let them know I'm trying to get over there however there seems to be a bit of "red tape" in the way if you want to call it that.
Thanks. -

Oh yea don't forget to mention I ordered replacement foam for all 8 woofers, i will include a pair of foam with each pair sold in case down the road the person wants to refoam they don't need to go searching.
Thanks Snow....... -
Just an FYI, i will probably keep these speakers for sale for probably 30-45 days because I know it's a good chunk of money for someone to come up with on a whim. If I have no offers or interests I am going to part out these last 3 pairs and take them to ebay before the holiday season end of December.

Wow cant believe you havent sold a pair of these yet. Great speakers guys and not very easy to find especially in this condition.

It's a good sum of money to come up with, but well worth it espcially since I am supply a brand new pair of OEM refoams with each pair.
And I still can't post on the JBL forum. -
All 3 pairs are SOLD. Thanks for viewing guys.

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
