Kicker Amp and SR124-DVC Question?

Well, on Halloween my car along with 7 others got broken into and our audio equipement stolen up at the College. They took my Alpine Head Unit, Kicker KX850.2 amp, Stinger SPV44 secondary battery, and my two Audiobahn AW1206T flameQ subwoofers. Well now that i'm gonna have to get new stuff and have Polk MOMO speakers all around which they didn't take, i was thinking about getting 2 12" Polk Subs and liked the SRs. The only thing is, the amp that i want is the Kicker SX900.2 which puts out 450x2 at 2ohm, but the SR124-DVC says they do 4ohm. Is it possible to take two of the subs and wire them so each one would get the 450watts at 2ohm? (Sorry if this all sounds retarded but i usaually just get everything installed by a stereo shop and don't know a lot about wiring subs and different impedances.)

Also, how do yall think these subs would sound with 450watts to each? My FlameQs were rated 1100rms and 2200peak, dual 4ohm voice coils, and 2 or 8 ohm. My KX850.2 gave those 425x2 at 2ohms and they pounded, sounded great, and astounded everyone that listened to them despite having so little wattage. I really hope those guys get caught and everyone's stuff get found, but its probably all gone now.

Well, i figured out I can get 450 to both subs. Another question: I listen to all kinds of music (rock, country, classic, 80s, 70s, oldies, rap, etc). With these subs, If i listen to some really low Rap bass will these subs still hit it ,sound good, and vibrate peoples houses?

i have 2 10" momos in a sealed box and every day when i pull up she says "i dont wana hear that boom badaboom" or some variation, i would def say u want more power than that in those, guys here run 1000 watts into those each. I would personaly go with 10s if u listen to all kinds of music, but the bigger the go, the lower the subs can hit.

The Kicker Amp while it says 900, puts out almost 1200. I've seen two different SX900.2 amps and the posted wattages were 1090 and 1095. Kicker underrates their stuff. My old KX850.2 was actually putting out 920. So i figure I'll be putting AT LEAST 500watts to both subs. And while i do listen to all kinds of music, i would have to say its Rap 50% of the time, but it also depends on my mood. Thanks for the advice by the way.

heh well it was stolen for sure because it was easy to see and do, u could walk away with it in 1 piece :)

This time i would def recomend concealing it a bit more and not installing it all in 1 piece, or at least, i think u can get them for a blazer, but get a cargo roller, The thing that u roll across the back and it covers it up, a lot of hatchbacks have them, but im pretty sure my buds old blazer had one too.... If u like the way your setup sounded before go with 12s, but i think u would be very happy with 2 10s

I'm sure the 10s would sound good, but i always like it when my subs would go inaudible and they would just rumble and everything around me would shake. I'm not expecting that so much with these, but they might surprise me.

Yeah, I use to through a black blanket over everything but stopped for some reason and of course not taking my faceplate off doesn't help. Plus, I'm gonna be putting a Viper 5900SST of Viper 791XV alarm on. I had the 791XV on my other car and like it, and I've heard great things about the Viper 5900SST.

One more question: I've also started looking at the Kicker SX1250.1 which does 1250wattsx1 at 1ohm. If i bought the 4ohm dvc SRs could i run them at 1ohm with each sub getting 625watts or would i need the 4ohm svc SRs? Thanks.
