Ok, I have a problem. For about the past week now, whenever I have my stereo turned up, and I make a left turn, for about 3 seconds the music will completely shut off. Does not do it on a right turn, nor will it cut off the music when the volume level is lower. Does anybody have any idea what is wrong? Thank you in advance.

On. I'm not a typical California driver, haha. But how would that affect it? As this only started very recently.

electrical is complicated but could be something very simple.

This is a longshot but an easy visual check. Try if you suspect the following may apply.

When I used to install, I came across a speaker wire carelessly run over the steering flex joint instead of the housing above it.
Eventually physical steering wore the wire insulation. Get a flashlight and inspect around the steering knuckle/flexible joint(about straight up from the driver footwell.
The contact with a high output head units speaker lead caused it to self protect since it sensed a direct output short.

Like I said maybe a longshot

Thats what I was going to say. Chances are the speaker wire is run too close to the steering under the dash.

Sorry it took so long to reply. But I found just a few topics under mine, about a guy having a similar problem. And mine was solved the same way his was. All I had to do was move around some car alarm wires.
