DIY Record Clamp
.......ever wanted to try a record clamp? here is a cheap one that works.
Dee Record Clamp
Materials:
*..Plastic top from CVS mixed nuts
*..Rubber R to R tape clamp (Radio Shack)
*..Plastic cap from Bic pen
1 - Center a hole in plastc top of nuts ...size that fits snug to spindle
2 - Cut off plastic cap of Bic Pen to the point that it snugs firmly to your spindle.Blue cap...will be a little over an inch.
3 - Insert plastic cap into R to R rubber clamp ( I used 2 because I had them laying around)
4 - Use top of Magic marker for finish look...not necessary
5 - Place plastic top on record....its the same size as label....with the ridge edge down.
6 - Place finished R to R rubber clamp onto spindle.
It worked on my badly warpered record of Linda Ronsdat. Enjoy the MUSIC
