Well I'm going to have to sell off virtually all my gear. Due to illness and a depressed job market where I live, I have been unemployed for several months. I will be starting a new job next week, but it will not help me out of my dire situation. Quite frankly, I'm about to lose everything, including my 16 year marriage. I'm not looking for sympathy, just a little help in selling off some nice gear. I might be asking a tad more for some of the stuff than I paid for it, but only because it's worth the price or more and I need every dollar I can get and needed it 3 months ago. And the good folks here at CP, that know me, know that I'll return the goodwill as soon as I can get back on my feet. So here it goes.

Anthem Amp One- 8/10 condition. My favorite of the several tube amps I have owned. 40 super strong watts per channel via a quad of EL-34s. Black in color and strong enough to drive most any speaker, imo. Have the original box and manual. SOLD to George Daniel

Dodd ELP- If you don't know about this little tubed pre by now, you've had your head in the sand. This has been a constant in one of my rigs for years now and I preferred it to the MLP I owned. Two 6DJ8/6922 tubes, two ins and outs. Will throw in a couple of very nice pairs of tubes. Will ship in original box. The tubes I'll throw in are worth a couple hundred by themselves. SOLD to George Daniels.

Polk SDA SRS 2s- These are my babies. I went all the way to Baltimore to get these. When I saw Doro put them up on the PFest 05 thread, I knew I had to make over there and I was up for over 50 hours straight to get there on time. I'd say they are one of the finest examples available. They are in excellent condition given their age. They are completely stock, though I have replaced the tweeters with the same kind(SL2000s). I never took issue with the SL 2000s, as many do....maybe because the tube gear I use really mellowed them out. Because of there size, no shipping on these. I can try to help with delivery, if no more than a couple of hours away, with help with gas. Walnut. $650.

Polk RTA 8TLs- 8/10 shape. These were my first pair of Polks and are in phenomenal shape for a 16 year old speaker. Oak in color. Sl-2500 tweeters. An excellent imaging speaker. I use them in my state-of-the-art 2.1 HT.:p Again, no shipping these. Will do the same as above. $150

JBL E30s- Black bookshelves- 2-way, w/ 6" driver. Bi-wirable. New in box. Perfect for HT, bedroom, etc. Sold to dagame27.

Polk MiDock Portfolio- For your Ipod. Perfect for the office, bedroom or kitchen. White in color. New in box. REDUCED $60 and I'll split shipping.

Polk XRt12 Reference XM tuner- Signed by Matt Polk in gold. Never used. Original box and all accessories. Sold to Graymane

Sony T-270 Reel to Reel- Barely used and in excellent condition. Comes with detachable speakers and mics. I've seen them on EBay go for as much as $300 and were not in this condition. $100 + half shipping.

    Noel, sorry to hear things are not so good; hang on there, things will get better.

    Guys, I've seen/heard all of this gear (except for the tuner, midock and reel2reel). Everything is in stellar condition. Those SRS2's are a steal at that price.
    If I had the space, I'd be driving right now to pick them up.

    Good grab George. Throw some RCA 12BH7's in place of the 12AU7's, and a single 12AX7 of your choice (I preferred Mullard in this amp). Pull the board, and there are 4 multicaps on the front, real easy to identify - go Sonicap, or Jensen oil and you won't believe what this Hammond transformer based amp can do.

    Any 12AU7 variant will work in that circuit, but the 12BH7 offers a little better performance overall. The 12BH7 will be obviously taller, almost twice as tall as an au7. EASY amp to tweek, sounds great stock, minor mods and you really are world class.

    Yeah, what Russ said....plus, 650 for the SRS2's ??? If you are thinking of 1.2TL's...buy these instead and take the other 2K and spend it on hookers and blow.

    They are THAT good.
